The Biomedical Engineering BS/MS Dual Degree program allows undergraduate students to enroll in BS and MS classes concurrently and streamline their application process for Graduate School.  BS/MS program students must begin their graduate study at the beginning of their senior undergraduate year before registering for the Thesis I course.  Students should apply to the department by the last semester of their junior year.

Application Deadlines:

  • April 1st for Fall Semester Department Admission
  • November 1st for Spring Semester Department Admission

After being admitted to the BS/MS Dual Degree program by the Biomedical Engineering department, students must also formally apply to the Graduate School for “Graduate Status” by submitting a “SLATE” online application no later than the semester in which they complete a maximum of 12 credit hours of graduate-level courses (5000+).
