Jacob A. George received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a Certificate in Computational Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2016. He then received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2018 and 2020, respectively.

Current Research

Dr. Jacob A. George is the director of the Utah NeuroRobotics Lab. His research is at the intersection of rehabilitation robotics, sensorimotor neural engineering, and bioinspired artificial intelligence. His lab develops assistive, rehabilitative, and diagnostic technology for individuals suffering from life-altering neuromuscular impairments. The lab is highly translational and applied; validating developed technology with end users daily and partnering with companies to translate commercially viable products into the market.
