Current Research

The broad scope of my research program is to understand the interactions between mechanics and cardiovascular disease progress, with a focus on translating efforts and establishing disruptive technologies that advance patient management. The two broad objectives of my research are to 1) advance the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease in the clinical setting and 2) understand how mechanics drives the structure, remodeling, and function of vascular tissues. Given the multidisciplinary nature of my research, the laboratory enjoys active collaborations with engineers, scientists, and clinicians.
