Profile

The scientific or application focus of my research has always been cardiac electrophysiology and, more recently, also electrophysiology and electromagnetic modulation of the brain. I use a range of methods but always with a heavy emphasis on computing and have published large open-source software projects that are used in labs all over the world. I have also conducted experimental and clinical studies to derive the data that motivates and validates the simulation and modeling studies we pursue.
